MBBP Client Seatwave Acquires Timbre

SeatwaveTimbre, an app built by Cambridge-based mobile software development firm Intrepid Pursuits, recently announced it has been acquired by MBBP client Seatwave. Timbre uses your current location to show you what concerts are happening nearby, and play clips of the music from each group. Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton serves as counsel to Seatwave, and advised it in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of this transaction. Joe Martinez and Joshua French were the lead attorneys on this deal.

Seatwave is a venture-backed online marketplace based in Europe where fans can buy and sell tickets for concerts, theatre, sports and just about any other live events.

Timbre is nominated for the 18th Annual Webby Awards in the “Mobile & Apps: Music” category! Cast your vote for Timbre here.
